To install a mod click on the Add Mod button and select the mod folder/archiveĬopy/drag the mod in the "mods" folder in the Sonic Generations folder (by default at 'C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sonic Generations\'). Launch the HMM, got to settings, select Sonic Generations as the game, click on Install Mod Loader and enable the checkmark at Enable mod loader. The mod manager should find Sonic Generations (or Lost World/Forces) and handle the installation by itself. Run the HedgeModManager.exe (Windows may warn you that it doesn't know the executeable but you can safely click on More Information and then Run Anyway). Download the latest release of the HMM (HedgeModManager), by clicking on HedgeModManager.zip (in Assests). Non-uniform scaling found while processing 'Foot_R'. PS: Forgot to mention this but when im converting the animations it outputs this to the log that may be useful in finding what im doing wrong:Ĭ:\Users\.\Documents\Projects\Sonic Generations Hacking\SonicGensModel>hkxcmd ExportKF chr_Sonic_HD.skl.hkx sn_idle_ exportedanim.kf Then use the converted animation in 3DS Max.
I use the command "hkxcmd ExportKF Skeleton.hkx Animation.hkx ConvertAnimation.kf"
I go to the file folder in command prompt. Just to make it clear of how I convert animations.
I tried a different animation and got similar results (used the jog one this time). After this I retraced my steps and I managed to get a less deformed Sonic. I did what you said and reloaded the animation (animation being the idle one) a couple of times however I get the same deformed pose with minor differences each time. Alright I reinstalled Generations and it turns out that I had accidentally corrupted the files inside the bb3 file.
